Spirit airlines to take off at Cleveland-Hopkins


CLEVELAND, Ohio (WKBN) – Tickets went on sale Thursday for new flights out of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

Spirit Airlines will begin flights out of Cleveland beginning Jan 15 with service to Orlando, Tampa and Fort Myers.

The company will be adding flights to Ft. Lauderdale, Dallas-Fort Worth and Las Vegas in February.

Flights to Los Angeles and Myrtle Beach will begin in April.

Spirit Airlines is a low-cost airline with unbundles fares without any extras. Spirit currently operates more than 250 daily flights to over 50 destinations within the U.S., Latin America, Caribbean and Canada.
