Commissioner Traficanti recalls time on Traficant’s staff

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Mahoning County Commissioner Anthony Traficanti spoke with WKBN 27 First News about the passing of former Valley congressman Jim Traficant.

Traficanti began his political career on Traficant’s staff in Washington and here in the Mahoning Valley.

Traficanti said his friend and colleague will be remembered for many things, but said his legacy will always be helping the underdog.

“What Jim Traficant will be remembered for most was his kind heart and helping people,” Traficanti said.
