Motorcyclist killed in Market Street crash


YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A motorcyclist was killed in an accident in Youngstown on Wednesday, according to police.

A motorcycle and another vehicle collided about 1 p.m. at the corner of Market Street and Elva Avenue on the south side.

The driver of the motorcycle suffered injuries in the crash and was taken by ambulance from the scene. He later died, police confirmed, but they have not released his name.

The driver and passengers in the other vehicle were not injured.

Youngstown police are investigating the crash and were still on the scene as of 4:30 p.m.
