Falcon Foundry workers to go back on the job

LOWELLVILLE,Ohio (WKBN) – Union workers at Falcon Foundry in Lowellville are heading back to work Monday morning.

About 100 members of the United Steelworkers union voted 58 to 20 to accept a new contract.

Local 5025 union president Mark Leonard said that the company worked through some sticking points with the membership, giving full-time employees a raise and clarifying issues with health care.

The workers walked off the job after their old contract expired Wednesday.

The company makes copper and bronze castings for use in the steel manufacturing industry,
