Texas nurse with Ebola visited Ohio bridal store

AKRON, Ohio (AP) – Health officials say a Texas nurse visited a northeast Ohio bridal store days before being diagnosed with Ebola, and they’re asking other people who were there to come forward.

Officials want anyone who visited Coming Attractions bridal shop in Akron between noon and 3:30 p.m. last Saturday to call Summit County Public Health.

The store is now closed to the public. Owner Anna Younker said she spent three hours helping Vinson and her seven bridesmaids choose their dresses.

Younker is now one of eight people in Summit and Portage counties under a self quarantine.

Health officials initially said Vinson didn’t show symptoms in Ohio but now say they can’t rule out the possibility that her illness began Friday or Saturday.
