4 children, 2 adults perish in house fire

MCKEESPORT, Pa. (AP) – A newspaper is reporting that six people are dead following a house fire in McKeesport.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review said Allegheny County emergency services chief Alvin Hederson confirmed that four children and two adults perished in Saturday’s early-morning blaze.

The county fire marshal’s office says the fire erupted at 6:42 a.m. in a house in the 300 block of Express Alley.

The newspaper says authorities have not released the victims’ names and ages and that the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
