OSP: Alcohol, drugs not factor in fatal Boardman crash

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – WKBN has learned of new developments Thursday on a crash from August that killed a motorcyclist who was traveling on Route 224.

The State Patrol says it now has the toxicology results for the teen driver who somehow collided with Youngstown native Anthony Scarnecchia on August 13.

Scarnecchia died from his injuries.

The State Patrol said both results had no traces of drugs or alcohol. Charges could still be filed against the teen driver.

The State Patrol plans to meet with the prosecutors office soon.
