2 dead in Warren fire

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Two bodies were found inside a burning home in Warren late Friday night.

Fire crews were called around 11:30 p.m. to the house at 448 Ivanhoe Ave. N.E., just off North Park Avenue. When crews arrived, the house was fully engulfed in flames.

The bodies of a man and woman were found in the house. Police would not say if the victims died in the fire or before the flames broke out. The area is being treated as a crime scene.

“It is under investigation, and we are working diligently to resolve the matter,” said Lieutenant Mark Thigpen, Warren Fire Department.

Warren police and fire and the state fire marshal are investigating.
