Tribune Chronicle hosts Make a Difference Day

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) -Hundreds of volunteers spread across Trumbull County Saturday to help others in their hometown.

It was all part of the 14th annual Make a Difference Day sponsored by the Tribune Chronicle.

Some projects included a home renovation on High Street, supply boxes for troops filled by a Cub Scout pack, and a clothing drive in Warren.

Event organizers say the goal is to give a helping hand to the community.

“We want to inspire people to not just complain but to take Make a Difference Day as a first step, and inspiration to continue making a difference every day, all year long,” said Sue Shafer, Tribune Chronicle.”

The event also includes a cornhole tournament that benefits the Hope Chest.
