YPD investigating church burglary

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Youngstown Police Department is investigating claims that someone entered a Youngstown church by breaking a stained glass window, then took a number of large items including a lawn mower and eight sound amplifiers, according to a report obtained by WKBN.

The report states that Sunday morning, a woman who said she works with the church called police after finding the items missing.

According to the report, someone stole:

  • A riding lawn mower
  • Eight large amps and speakers
  • An industrial sink
  • An industrial dish washer

The police report states that the woman told police the church is called Sacred Heart of Jesus, but a man who identified himself as the church’s pastor said Monday that the church is called Bread of Life Fellowship.

The church is located at  702 Cameron Ave. in Youngstown.
