Crews still working to restore power


YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Power outages are still being reported in several parts of the Valley after high winds swept through the area on Monday.

It has been a busy 24 hours as First Energy crews have been working overtime to get the lights back on in the wake of the wind storm.

First Energy reports 187 people are without power in Mahoning County, with 72 in Trumbull County and 11 in Columbiana County without electricity.

At one point overnight, sections of Belmont Avenue in the Youngstown area were also in the dark but power has since been restored.
