Mercy Health kicks off Festival of Trees

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – Mercy Health Systems kicked off its Festival of Trees event on Friday.

The trees were being set up inside St. Elizabeth Health Center’s Boardman location. They are all decorated for the holidays and are up for grabs through a raffle.

Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. All of the proceeds go toward funding the hospital’s mission closet for clothing.

“Funding is needed in the area. Our mission closet is full of clothing and different things and a lot of people do take advantage of it,” administrative assistant Gina Mook said.

The drawing is set for Dec. 12. A photo I.D. Is required to pick up the tree.
