Bazetta fire crews douse flames caused by dryer

BAZETTA (WKBN) — For the third time in a month, the fire department was called to the same housing development in Bazetta.

Just after noon Saturday, crews responded to a dryer fire at a home on Ivy Hill Circle. The was no damage to the residence, and the malfunctioning appliance was replaced.

Cortland and Howland crews assisted.

This is the third fire in the development in the last month.

The first two were caused by space heaters.

No one was injured in any of the incidents.
