Flu on the rise in Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WKBN) — The flu appears to be on the rise in Ohio.

According to the state health department, so far this year there have been 202 flu-related hospitalizations.

That’s compared to 89 last year.

There also has been one flu-associated pediatric death – a teenager from southern Ohio.

The 2014-2015 flu season started in October and likely will continue into next spring.
