CINCINNATI (AP) – Ohio transportation authorities have again put off a shutdown of southbound Interstate 75 in Cincinnati.
Weather conditions and other factors now have led to schedule changes so that all I-75 southbound lanes are now set to close Monday at 11 p.m. That will be between State Route 562 and Mitchell Avenue just north of downtown. They reopen at 6 a.m. Tuesday. Another full southbound shutdown is planned Wednesday night.
Authorities suggest using I-275 west to I-74 east to I-75 for a detour past the railroad bridge replacement work.
Arrow boards and signs will alert motorists, and weather could cause schedule changes for the work.
The schedule remains subject to change, after earlier shutdown plans for Friday and Saturday were postponed.
