Youngstown shooting leaves vehicle damaged

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Just after 9:30 p.m. Friday night, Youngstown police were called to the corner of Oak and Livingston streets for reports of gunfire.

When they arrived, they found a Cadillac Escalade with three bullet holes in it, a shattered window and flat tire.

The three occupants of the SUV told police they were pulling out of the Oak Street Market when they saw muzzle flashes coming from the street.

That’s when they ran from the Cadillac and into the store.

Police found more than a dozen shell casings and what looked to be a homemade bomb on the ground outside.

The bomb squad was called and the SUV was taken by police.

No one was injured and there have been no arrests.
