Peace Light coming to Warren

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Also today, the Peace Light is coming back to the Mahoning Valley.

The light will arrive Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Boy Scouts’ local headquarters in Warren.

The light comes from the grotto in Bethlehem where Jesus was born.

It’s then carried in blast-proof miner’s lamps on a jet to Austria, and from there, distributed world-wide.

The Peace Light will be available for everyone to see until noon on December 23 at the Scouts’ headquarters.
