Man hospitalized after jumping out of moving car

NORTH LIMA, Ohio (WKBN) — An Ashtabula County man was taken to the hospital Saturday morning after apparently jumping from a moving vehicle.

According to the Canfield post of the Ohio State Patrol, the 19-year-old was in the backseat of a car headed south at 50 miles an hour on state Route 11 in Beaver Township when he jumped.

He injured his head and leg and was conscious when an ambulance arrived to take him to St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center.
