YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Youngstown woman who had been reported missing in Columbus has been found safe.

Claudette Moore, 44, was reported missing following her son’s graduation ceremony from the Ohio State University. Moore was in town to attend her son’s graduation ceremony on Sunday.

J.T. Moore is a former football player for the Buckeyes and graduated with honors. Moore was reported missing two days after the ceremony.

“She was happy. She was happy that my brother graduated cum laude. She was happy about that, and we had the baby with us and my other family was there,” said Moore’s daughter, Darryce Moore.

Moore said the family gathered Christmas Eve at an apartment near campus and an argument broke out. Claudette told her family she wanted to diffuse the situation and went for a walk, but never returned.
