Youngstown woman charged after ramming cars

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – An argument Christmas Day in Youngstown ended with a woman being charged with felonious assault and presents tossed out of a car.

According to a police report, Fredericka Winlock, 22, of Youngstown was arrested Thursday after police say she rammed her car into another woman’s car parked at a home on N. Maryland Avenue, causing a chain reaction that damaged three other vehicles.

Winlock went to the home just after 12 a.m. and began throwing presents from her SUV onto the front yard of the house. A witness said the presents were dropped off earlier in the day at Winlock’s Warren Avenue home by the father of Winlock’s child.

A female inside the N. Maryland home confronted Winlock and an argument ensued. The woman said Winlock sprayed her with pepper spray and then accelerated the SUV she was driving toward her, hitting a car parked in the driveway. The impact pushed the car into two other vehicles, causing heavy damage, according to the report.

Winlock then sped away, driving through yards as she left.

Winlock was later arrested and charged with felonious assault and criminal damaging.
