GIRARD (WKBN) — A man and woman were robbed at gunpoint in their own home Saturday in Girard.
Police tell WKBN that about noon they were called to a house on West Liberty Street for an armed robbery.
The residents told police a man entered the home through an unlocked door, handcuffed the man and pointed a gun at the woman’s head.
The intruder then took a 52-inch television, a cell phone and four oxycodone pills.
He left in a blue minivan toward Liberty Township.
Police described the man as a dark-skinned Hispanic, about 5 feet tall, with a moustache. He was wearing camouflage clothing and a black stocking cap.
No one was injured. Police are investigating.
