Two indicted in Firestone mansion arson

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Two people were indicted Tuesday in connection to an arson that destroyed the historical Firestone mansion in October.

Alexis A. Little, 20, of Youngstown, and Brian J. McKinney, 20, of Boardman, are each facing one count of arson, according to court records. Neither suspect has been arrested, but arrest warrants have been issued.

The mansion on Lipply Road went up in flames about 4 a.m. Oct. 21. The state fire marshal ruled it an arson Nov. 3.

Tom Ellison bought and then moved the 134-year-old home to its location on Lipply Road in Beaver Township in the fall of 2011. The house was originally built in 1880 by Henry Firestone.

The mansion was not insured.
