AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – There will be plenty of friendly wagers Thursday night on the gridiron, but there also is one on the griddle.
O’Donold’s Irish Pub is facing off against Chubb’s Grub Station in Alabama to a Bama versus Buckeye burger challenge. Each eatery has created a specialty burger they will serve on Thursday.
The winner of the football match determines the victor in the burger challenge. The losing restaurant must donate a portion of the day’s proceeds to the food bank of the champion’s choice.
“Just a great time at O’Donold’s, which is always expected and we always strive to be the best we can and even though we are a little company we try to be better than what everyone expects us to be,” Austintown O’Donold’s general manager Josh Fegley said.
O’Donold’s specialty burger is made with breakfast sausage, pepper jack cheese, bacon, BBQ sauce, pulled pork, roasted red peppers, mozzarella and cheddar cheese, and an onion ring on top.
