Power restored in Warren

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – A power outage that affected around 1500 customers in Warren Thursday afternoon was completely restored by 3:45 p.m. Thursday, according to the First Energy website.

First Energy Representative Robin Patton told WKBN that a car hit a pole on Burton St. in Warren at 12:43 p.m., cutting power for 1500 customers.

Patton said 1300 customers had their power restored by 1 p.m. First Energy restored electricity for the other 200 within a couple of hours.

The outage came on a day when temperatures were consistently in the single digits, meaning that some residents may not have had a place to seek shelter from the cold.
