The trophy is the same one awarded to the Ohio State Buckeyes at the National Championship game in Dallas on Monday. It is made of 24k gold, bronze, and stainless steel and is 26.5 inches tall. It took three months to complete.
The trophy will be at Walmart, 3900 Morse Road in Columbus, from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday. It will be at Kroger grocery store, 1375 Chambers Road in Columbus, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Once the trophy makes its rounds, it will be displayed permanently at the Ohio State University. A new trophy will be made for next year’s national champion.
