CAMPBELL, Ohio (WKBN) – An investigation is underway at Campbell Memorial High School after its administration got information about a potential inappropriate relationship between a teacher and student.
The Campbell Police Department received the complaint Friday from Campbell Schools Superintendent Matt Bowen.
The complaint stated the incident may have involved the teacher and the juvenile exchanging harmful material.
The department then asked the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation to take over the investigation. The Ohio Attorney General’s Office confirmed to WKBN Monday that BCI’s Crimes Against children unit is handling the case.
The teacher is on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
