Ohio looking for Senior Citizens Hall of Fame nominees

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WKBN) – State officials are seeking nominations for the Ohio Senior Citizens Hall of Fame for 2015.

Each year, the Ohio Department of Aging pays recognition to older residents for their roles in strengthening the state and its communities.

The department has an online form for submitting nominations.

The deadline is March 1. Nominees must be 60 or older. They also must have been born in Ohio or lived in the state at least 10 years.

Those chosen will be inducted May 28 in Columbus.
