Turnpike ramp re-opens after semi accident

Jackson Township, (Ohio) – The on-ramp to the Ohio Turnpike at I-76 in Jackson Township re-opened late Monday afternoon following a tractor-trailer accident.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Mark Parson, 53, of Tennessee was entering the eastbound ramp when lost control of the rig and tipped over.

Parson was taken to Saint Elizabeth Health Center with minor injuries.

The ramp was closed for several hours as crews cleared the wreckage and cleaned up the dry cement mixture that spilled from the truck.

The accident remains under investigation.
