PennDot issues warning for turnpike

Travel advisories lifted for Ohio, PA turnpikes

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WKBN) – The entire Pennsylvania Turnpike, from the Ohio line, to Philadelphia, is operating under a Winter Weather Warning through Tuesday.

PennDot officials are encouraging travelers to keep alert and allow time to arrive safely.

Motorists should expect changing weather conditions on the turnpike and are asked to use caution and reduce speed when approaching emergency workers on the road.

An emergency kit should be included in vehicles in case of emergency or if a driver needs to wait for help.
