Traffic flowing again after Route 224 accident in Boardman

Several vehicles were involved in an accident in Boardman, Ohio.

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – Traffic is moving again after a multi-car accident along Route 224 near the Boardman-Canfield border.

At least three cars were involved in the accident around 2 p.m. Sunday.

Paramedics arrived on the scene and transported at least one person to the hospital to be treated for injuries.

Traffic had to be diverted for almost an hour.

Heavy bands of snow began to move into the area early Sunday morning. Roads remain snow-covered as road crews try to keep up with the steady snowfall.
