BROOKFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – A company spokesperson for TMK-Ipsco confirmed Wednesday that the company has laid off about 20 employees from its Brookfield facility for an indefinite period of time.

The plant has 125 employees, according to the spokesperson, and puts threading on to the ends of pipes and sells them to oil and gas companies.

The company has other facilities in Pennsylvania. The spokesperson said that at those locations, about 10% of workers are being laid off indefinitely.
