Youngstown police investigate fatal bar shooting

One person was hit by gunfire outside of a Youngstown, Ohio bar.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — New details have been released in the shooting that killed a man early Saturday in Youngstown.

According to reports, the victim, Dejuan Thomas, 33, died at Saint Elizabeth’s hospital with a bullet wound in his chest.

Witnesses told police the shooter as a male, between 20 and 25 years old.

He was driven there in a green Dodge Neon that was covered with blood on the inside and had a shattered window.

The person who drove Thomas to the hospital told police the shooting happened outside Partners Jazz Lounge on Oak Hill Avenue.

The incident is under investigation.
