CAMPBELL, Ohio (WKBN) – Three people arrested in a drug bust earlier this week appeared in Campbell Municipal Court on Friday.
Bernard Hasley, Rakeem Gray and Jeanette Shipton were arrested Tuesday when Gray called police, claiming someone had shot into his residence at the Michael Kirwan Homes on Monroe Street. When police arrived, they found several bags of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a loaded gun.
Hasley, 25, of Youngstown, was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and having a weapon under disability. He is free on bond and is due back in court Feb. 20 for a preliminary hearing, according to court records.
Gray, 24, is charged with drug trafficking, drug possession and three counts of drug paraphernalia. He also is free on bond and is due back in court Feb. 20 for a preliminary hearing, according to court records.
And Shipton, 40, was arrested on an outstanding warrant and child endangering because her juvenile daughter was there at the time. She posted bond and is due back in court July 24 for a pre-trial hearing, court records show.
Also arrested during Tuesday’s incident was Demetrius Dawson, 27, of Campbell, who was arrested on charges of drug possession and drug paraphernalia, according to a police report. He is free on bond and is due back in court on Feb. 24. Stacey Gray, 23, of Campbell, was issued a summons for failure to appear in court, the report states.
