YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Making a good first impression is what Wednesday’s Dress for Success event at Youngstown State University was all about.
Models strutted their stuff in professional clothing. YSU business students helped put on the event, which was part of the school’s Professional Development Series designed to get students ready for the workplace.
“So they know the different ways to dress for different business occasions. So they know and understand for an interview, the dress is different than it is going to be for a company picnic or company outing. It’s just to help them make the transition from student to professional,” YSU School of Business student Christine Costello said.
This is the second semester the business school put on the event. Upcoming events include seminars on networking and working in internship positions.
