Pinterest shuts down mock Hillary Clinton page

Pinterest has shut down a mock Hillary Clinton page.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Pinterest has shut down a mock Hillary Clinton page. A Republican big name was behind the squashed site.

It appears Pinterest is not interested in Rand Paul’s mock Hillary Clinton page. The company says it deleted the page that was apparently from the Kentucky republican’s digital team.

The site featured memes mocking the former secretary of state with a Valentine’s Day theme.

Paul advertised the site Saturday on his twitter account.

It was removed by Sunday night.

In a statement, Pinterest said the page violated the company’s acceptable use policy which prohibits activity “impersonate or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.”
