Warren residents learn more about Lots to Love

Residents in Warren, Ohio learn how to turn vacant lots in useable green space.

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Folks got more information Saturday on a new revitalization project in Warren. It’s called Lots to Love and is run by the Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership.

Under the program, residents can develop green spaces on vacant lots created through the demolition of homes. The goal is simple: Eliminating eyesores in the city.

“We don’t want to see all the demolitions result in lots with high grass and animals and other things that are making neighborhoods harder to live in,” said Marissa Williams, Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership.

Anyone who is interested in working on a lot can get a $6,000 grant from TNP to help realize their urban revitalization vision.
