Fire damages Goshen Twp. barn

GOSHEN TWP., Ohio (WKBN) – Five fire departments responded to a fire at a barn in Goshen Township in Mahoning County Monday morning just after 6 a.m.

The owner of a home in the 12000 block of West Pine Lake Rd. reported seeing the flames after getting up Monday. A Goshen police officer who responded to the fire said he could see the flames from the police station.

The barn was completely destroyed in the blaze. According to police, the fire injured no animals or people, although two cars sustained damage.

A motorcycle and World War II memorabilia were lost in the flames.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
