AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – There will be no races Monday at Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course, according to a release from the business.
Vice President of Racing Operations Mark J. Loewe announced Sunday that Monday’s races will not go off as scheduled because of frigid temperatures and wind.
The racino also cancelled racing on Wednesday, Jan. 7.
The racino opened on September 17th, and through Feb. 9, made a profit of $23 million for Penn National. Penn’s profit in January was just under $6.9 million, down from $7.1 million in December.
