Warren man accused of abducting woman

Harold Travis, 22

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Police arrested a Warren man Tuesday after receiving a call that he had held a woman hostage for two weeks, according to a police report.

Warren Police arrested Harold Travis, 22, Tuesday, charging him with domestic violence, abduction and felonious assault, according to the report.

Emergency workers transported the woman to the hospital for her injuries.

According to a call log, the woman called police Tuesday and said Travis had a gun to her head at one point so that she couldn’t yell for help.

The narrative section of the report does not state what evidence, besides the woman’s call and injuries seen on her body, led police to arrest Travis.

Editor’s note: A previous version of this story incorrectly identified the man whom police arrested. We regret the error.
