Court clarifies bond conditions for former teacher

campbell teacher charged with sexual battery

CAMPBELL, Ohio (WKBN) –  Former Campbell Memorial High School teacher Shannon Pavlansky-Wojtowicz was back in Campbell Municipal Court Friday morning.

The reason was to clarify a condition of her bond. Wojtowicz appeared before a judge to set a condition that she is to not have any contact with school officials, employees, or students, which something that Campbell Law Director Brian Macala said was missed when she first appeared in municipal court.

Wojtowicz was charged with sexual battery 10 days ago. The 30-year-old is accused of having an inappropriate physical relationship with a high school student.

“There was some point brought as to whether or not she may have had contact with a school employee since she was here,” Macala said.

Wojtowicz is still free on bond, but officials said they could revoke that if she does have contact with anyone from the school. If convicted, she faces up to 36 months in prison, and a $10,000 fine.

The case could be presented to a grand jury in the next few weeks.
