Niles superintendent retiring

Superintendent Frank Danso is retiring form a school district in Niles, Ohio.


NILES, Ohio (WKBN) – The Niles School District is looking for a new superintendent after Frank Danso announced his retirement Thursday.

The Tribune Chronicle reports Danso has been employed as superintendent in the district since October 2012 and has seen it through the building of three new schools.

Danso is a longtime educator also known for leading Southington schools through levy campaigns and a school construction project.

The district will work to find his replacement before he retires August 1.
