Campbell man, accused of threatening to run over police, arraigned

Jose Hernandez was arrested after police in Cambell, Ohio say he tried to run over an officer with a semi truck.

CAMPBELL, Ohio (WKBN) – A judge arraigned Campbell resident Jose Hernandez, accused of threatening to run over a police officer with his semi truck, Tuesday morning.

Hernandez is being held in the Mahoning County jail on a $28,000.

The judge also issued a restraining order against Hernandez on behalf of his wife.

Campbell police were called to a home on Monroe Street Friday to investigate the report of a domestic fight involving a man and a woman.

Police say when they arrived Hernandez got into his truck and tried to hit an officer. He’s due back in court Friday.
