Man shot at several times in Youngstown

A man was shot at several times on the south side of Youngstown, Ohio.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A man is in the hospital recovering from a gunshot wound after a shooting on Youngstown’s south side.

Police believe the victim was shot at more than a dozen times while driving his car on East Indianola Avenue around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The victim managed to drive himself to Idora Avenue with a blown-out tire and busted rear window to get help.

The victim was taken to Saint Elizabeth Hospital with minor injuries.

No one has been arrested.

Police say this is the third shooting in the last 24 hours, with four people being injured in those shootings.
