YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Youngstown man was indicted Thursday in a Feb. 24 robbery at Chase Bank on Market Street.

Jayquawn Manigault, 22, is facing one count of aggravated robbery with a firearm specification and two counts of having weapons while under disability. He has not been arrested.

According to the warrant issued for his arrest, Manigault walked into the bank at 2900 Market Street about 9 a.m. Feb. 24 and said that he wanted to open an account. As he was sitting at a desk to complete paperwork, he asked to call his mother and placed a phone call from a bank phone.

Manigault then gave a bank employee a note demanding money and showed a firearm. The employee gave Manigault money in a bag, and he ran from the bank.

Police hit redial on the phone that Manigault used and traced it to a family member who said she was Manigault’s grandmother.

No one was hurt in the incident.
