VERNON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) – Two men and two children were taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center following a two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon.

According to the Warren post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Brian Rossi, 42, of Burghill, was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer north on Orangeville Kinsman Road just before 4 p.m. when he drove left of center and struck a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado driven by John Gilmore, 67, of Greenville, Pa., head on. The impact caused Gilmore to slide off the right side of the road, the patrol said.

Rossi and two children, ages 11 and 7, were taken by ambulance to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Gilmore was taken to the hospital by helicopter. He suffered serious injuries, the patrol said.
