YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN)-The Youngstown Phantoms continued their longest winning streak in franchise history Friday, topping Sioux Falls 7-3.

The Phantoms win ended the Stampede’s seven-game winning streak.

Youngstown took a quick penalty that Sioux Falls converted on giving the Stampede a 1-0 lead.

But the Phantoms got their chances towards the end of the period. On the power play, Kyle Connor found Kiefer Sherwood for a one-timer that beat Lekkas. Minutes later the Phantoms had the man-advantage again, this time it was Sherwood to Connor that gave Youngstown the lead 2-1.

Sherwood and Connor both had two goals on the night.
