Hubbard death ruled homicide

HUBBARD (WKBN) — A city man’s death Saturday in Hubbard has been ruled a homicide.

According to Hubbard police, of Cody Pitts, 26, died of a single gunshot wound early Saturday.

The Trumbull County 911 Center received a call about 3:30 a.m. Saturday from a woman who said she almost hit a person lying on Orchard Avenue near the Downtown Coffee Cafe.

The cafe was the last place Pitts was seen alive.

Police tell WKBN they are in the process of interviewing people.
