Beaver Local Schools to get Apple products

LISBON, Ohio (WKBN) – When Beaver Local’s new K-12 facility opens in the fall of 2015, look for lots of new technology.

The Board of Education voted Monday to enter into a three-year contract with Apple that will supply students, teachers and administrators with laptops and tablets. Younger students will get iPad tablets while older students will get MacBook Air laptop computers.

Graduating students will also be given the option to buy their laptops for a discounted price.
