Harding grad and Colts running back Dan Herron speaks to Valley youth.

Lowellville, OH (WKBN) – Fresh off a breakout season, Colts’ Running Back Daniel Boom Herron returned to the Valley to give back to the place where his journey to the NFL began.

The Warren Harding grad and former Big 22 Player of the Year spoke to are youth at Victory Christian Center.  He also had some fun with those in attendance…while also discussing the struggles that he faced growing up, and what principles that have helped him be successful.

“Just always set your goals and always keep fighting to reach them,” said Herron. “I always set a lot of goals. You may not reach all the goals that you want to, but, keep fighting to reach them.  Because I went through some bumps in the road. But, at the same time, you’ve gotta just keep on pushing and keep on working.”
