LISBON, Ohio (WKBN) – The Columbiana County coroner has identified the man whose body was found along Seigler Road in Wayne Township Wednesday morning.
Quinn Juan Wilson, 33, was identified through fingerprints, according to a coroner’s investigator. The investigator said the cause of death is not being released until an autopsy is complete.
The Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office is investigating whether Wilson’s death is connected to blood found at the residence of a person arrested over the weekend.
Police arrested a person of interest in Wilson’s death, Daniel Landsberger, 54, earlier this week on a tampering with evidence charge because police said he burned a mattress, box springs and a head board from a room in his trailer where they said blood was found. He is being held on a $1 million bond and is due back in court Monday.
On Sunday, police were contacted by a Desellem Road man who said his neighbor told him he had beaten a man up before his girlfriend convinced that man to come party at their house, according to a police report. The man then said his neighbor told him he had killed the man at the party on Friday night, according to the report.
That man’s advice led police to arrest Landsberger.
